1The Service

ecommercetool.io is a free, browser-based utility suite for e-commerce sellers, including dispatch, returns, inventory, GST, settlement and reporting modules and standalone tools. The Service runs in your browser; we do not operate a server-side database for your business records.

2Free use and changes

The Service is provided free of charge. We may add, change or remove features at any time, and may suspend or discontinue the Service without notice. We will try to give reasonable notice of major changes on this website.

3Your data and responsibilities

• Data you enter is stored in your browser's local storage on your device. You own it and control it.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for keeping regular backups.
• You are responsible for complying with tax, invoicing and marketplace rules that apply to your business.
• You must have the right to use any customer or business information you enter.

4Optional Google Sheets sync

Google Sheets Sync is optional and off by default. If you enable it, you authorise the app to read and write a spreadsheet in your own Google account directly from your browser. Your use of Google services is also governed by Google's terms. You can disconnect at any time from Settings.

5Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including issuing false invoices or evading tax;
• attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer for abuse, or interfere with the website or its ads;
• click on advertisements artificially or use automated means to generate ad impressions;
• copy and republish the website's content or branding as your own.

6Advertising

The Service is supported by advertisements served by Google AdSense on most pages. Ads are not shown on the Dashboard or on legal pages, and are currently not shown on the Orders, Products, Settings and Data Import pages. How advertising cookies are used is explained in the Privacy Policy.

7Intellectual property

The website design, text, logo and code are owned by ecommercetool.io. Invoices, labels, QR codes and reports you generate with the Service belong to you. Third-party trademarks belong to their respective owners.

8No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of calculations. See the Disclaimer.

9Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ecommercetool.io and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profit, revenue or business, arising from your use of the Service.

10Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

11Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows the latest version. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
